Dr. Alba Soto Ontoso from Granada University (UGR) visits IFIC from December 2nd to 4rd, 2024

Her research revolves around QCD phenomenology at high-energy colliders. She is interested in the study of jets using analytic methods (logarithmic resummation) as well as parton shower simulations (within the PanScales collaboration).
Most of her work lies at the frontier between proton-proton and heavy-ion collisions.
