RESUELTA // Post-doctoral position for detector development

Descripción:
The experimental high energy physics division at IFIC invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in particle physics instrumentation.

IFIC is a joint center of the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Valencia devoted to research in Nuclear, Particle and Astroparticle Physics, both experiment and theory, and applications to Medical Physics and other fields of Science and Technology. In particular, the institute has significant involvements in Belle II at KEK (Japan) and NA-64 at CERN (Switzerland), R&D collaborations like RD50 and EU projects like AIDAInnova.
In this context, we are looking for candidates to join our research efforts in the framework of detector development for the aforementioned projects.

Duración del contrato

The initial duration of the contract is for two years, extendable one additional year. The position will be located in Valencia (Spain), with possible trips to major European labs such as CERN and DESY for detector testing campaigns and collaboration meetings.
