Prof. Paul Harrison from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Warwick,
visits IFIC from March 3rd to 6th, 2025.

Paul founded the elemetary particle physics group at Warwick in 2004, which he led until 2017
before stepping down to spend more time focusing on his research. He is a member of the ATLAS
collaboration, and has a strong interest in B-physics, having previously worked on the BaBar
experiment. Paul has also published several papers on quark and neutrino phenomenology, where he
is well known for his ansätze for the mixing matrices.
At the IFIC Seminar on March 4th at 12:00 h (Europe/Madrid), Paul will give a talk entitled:
"Unitarity triangle angles explained: a predictive new quark mass matrix texture".
