Óscar Zapata joined the Physics Institute at the University of Antioquia (Colombia) in 2012, where he currently serves as a Full Professor. His research is centered on the phenomenology of dark matter models, encompassing various dark matter production mechanisms. He also explores the intersection of particle physics and cosmology, investigating their cosmological implications and studying possible complementary approaches to probe these phenomena.
