Dr. Alejandro Saez from Instituto de Física Teórica (IFT), visits IFIC from October 7th to November 6th, 2024

Alejandro recently completed his PhD in Lattice QCD at the Instituto de Física Teórica, Madrid. His work has been focused on high precisión scale setting on the lattice, needed for precisión tests of the Standard Model and indirect searches of New Physics, as well as on heavy quark physics using Lattice methods. He is mainly interested in gauge theories and strong interactions, but also in other fields, and in the past has worked on cosmological inflation.
