Dr. Wenzer Qin from New York University will visit IFIC from October 13th to 15th.
Dr. Wenzer Qin from New York University will give an IFIC Seminar on October 14th at 12 h, titled "Not-quite-primordial black holes"
Wenzer Qin is a theoretical physicist researching cosmology and dark matter phenomenology. In addition to investigating the particle nature of dark matter using cosmological data, she has recently become interested in determining the origin of supermassive black holes. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher and Simons Junior Fellow at the Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics of New York University. She received her Ph.D. from the MIT Department of Physics in 2024, where she was advised by Tracy Slatyer.
She will be in IFIC from October 13th to 15th.
