Dr Jenny List visits IFIC from June 16th to 18th, 2025
Dr Jenny List obtained her PhD from RWTH Aachen in 2000, working on Higgs searches at the OPAL experiment at LEP. After a different postdoc positions on TESLA, H1, D0, ATLAS, she established a DFG-funded Emmy-Noether Young Investigator group on "Dark Matter searches and polarimetry for ILC" at DESY, Hamburg. Since becoming tenured at DESY in 2010, she worked on a broad range of aspects of future e+e- colliders (science case, detectors, beam instrumentation) as well as on on-site experiments at DESY (in particular LUXE = Laser-und-XFEL-Experiment).
Currently, she is leading the "Science with Lepton Beams" group at DESY, and her roles comprise being deputy spokesperson of the LUXE experiment, leader of the Physics & Detector working group of the ILC International Development Team (ILC-IDT-WG3), member of the executive team of the ILD detector concept, and co-leader of the Linear Collider Vision effort.
Her office at IFIC is located in the Experimental Building (Marcel Vos' office, 128).
