This coming Friday, October 31th, IVICFA organises a workshop devoted to medical applications of particle physics. The seminars will span the whole morning until lunch, and they will cover topics such as hadrontherapy, the design of accelerators for medical facilities or the use of positron emission tomography (PET) in neurosurgery.

As usual, the talks will be held at the conference room of the Science Park, on the first floor of Edificio de Cabecera. The organisers encourage the attendees to register through the Indico web application in order to optimise the organisation.
