During this week IFIC hosts Kate Shaw, outreach coordinator of the ATLAS experiment. Dr Shaw supervises the communication strategies of ATLAS, its relation with the media and the development of the educational tools that ATLAS offers to students and teachers, including the resources for the ATLAS masterclasses, which IFIC will also host next week. Dr Shaw is also Ambassador for the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (Trieste), where she promotes physics research in the developing countries. 

As part of her visit Dr Shaw will offer a seminar on "Physics Outreach, Education and Communication", on Wednesday March 4th at 12:30 in IFIC seminar room. For more info please visit the page of the event on Indico,
