Dr. Michele Lucente from University of Bologna and Fermilab visits IFIC from 9th to 11th of January 2024.
Michele Lucente's main research interests are neutrino physics, dark matter, baryogenesis, low-scale dark sectors and gravitational waves from new particle physics extensions. He got his PhD in 2015 from Université Paris-Sud and SISSA, under the supervision of Asmâa Abada, and subsequently worked at the CP3 center of UCLouvain as Marie Curie fellow, and at the TTK center of RWTH Aachen University as Humboldt fellow. He is currently the PI of the Global Marie Curie project “NuBridge”, jointly hosted by Fermilab and University of Bologna, as well as an active member of the GAMBIT collaboration within the neutrino working group.
