Dr. Tamara Vazquez-Schröder visits IFIC from February 10th to 13th, 2025

Dr. Tamara Vazquez-Schröder speaker of the IFIC Seminar on February 11th, 2025.

Tamara Vazquez-Schröder received her Diploma degree in Physics at the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain, and did her PhD on top quark physics at the University of Göttingen, Germany. She worked as a post-doc with the University of McGill (Montreal) until 2018, she was a CERN Research Fellow from 2018 to 2020, and a CERN Research Junior Staff from 2020 to 2024. She is currently a tenure-track Ramón y Cajal researcher at IFAE (Barcelona) since 2024 and was recently awarded the ATRAE 2024 grant. She has led the exotics searches within the ATLAS Collaboration from 2022 to 2024 and is currently one of the conveners of the newly-created LHC BSM WG.
