Luca Marsicano, from the NA64 Collaboration, will be visiting IFIC from 9 to 11 February 2026. On 10 February, he will give an IFIC seminar titled 'Casting light on the X17 particle with the NA64 experiment at CERN' at 12 noon at the Paterna Seminario (Universe) in room Primera-1-1-1.

His research focuses on experimental searches for light dark matter and dark sector particles in beam dump and missing-energy experiments. His work involves detector development, data analysis, and phenomenological studies. Since 2022, he has been a member of the NA64 Collaboration at CERN, focusing on advanced signal selection algorithms to improve the experiment's physics reach for various dark sector scenarios.

He will be based in Laura Molina's office (B-2-4).
