Professor Guido Martinelli visits IFIC from March 24th to 27th, 2025
Professor Guido Martinelli is a leading theoretical physicist and professor at the University of Rome La Sapienza, specializing in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and particle physics. He has made fundamental contributions to the development of lattice field theory (Lattice QCD), particularly in the calculation of hadron properties and in the study of processes in particle physics. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and has collaborated in international projects of great relevance in the field. His work has been key in the application of computational simulations to solve problems in particle physics and in the understanding of phenomena such as CP symmetry violation. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his research leadership and his impact on the global scientific com
Martinelli will give a IFIC-SO Colloquium entitled: Lattice QCD for Phenomenology: New developments and an outlook.
