Public talk by Antonio Pich this Thursday at the Burjassot Campus

This Thursday, May 8th, at 12:30 in the afternoon IFIC researcher Antonio Pich will give a public talk at the Darwin Hall in the Burjassot Campus. In this talk Prof. Pich will speak about the most recently discovered particle in the Standard Model, the Higgs boson, outlining the events in the almost 50 years between the theoretical proposal and the discovery by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations of the LHC. This conference is part of the outreach cycle "Mysteries of matter and the Universe", motivated by ICHEP 2014, and also of the conference cycle of the Physics Faculty of the Universitat de València.
