In addition to the usual administrative work of any public body, a research institute must deal with the management of research projects funded by a variety of regional, national and European organizations, each with its regulation and modus operandi. This Unit looks after around fifty projects and research grants continuously. Every year nearly a hundred employment contracts are made, two to three dozen public tenders launched, more than two thousand invoices paid, more than a thousand official travels processed and all sort of events are sorted out within a community of workers belonging to two different institutions and of more than a dozen nationalities.
