Dr. Ennio Salvioni visits IFIC on 4th of September, 2024
Ennio Salvioni works on theoretical physics beyond the Standard Model. He obtained his PhD at Padua/CERN in 2013, mainly focusing on Higgs phenomenology. He then held post-doctoral positions at UC Davis and TU Munich, followed by a CERN fellowship. In 2021-2023 he was an assistant professor in Padua and in 2024 he moved to the University of Sussex, where he is a lecturer and STFC Ernest Rutherford fellow.
Ennio’s current research interests include new physics signatures at colliders, the phenomenology of thermal dark matter, and probing fundamental physics with the large scale structure of the Universe. For more information, see https://profiles.sussex.ac.uk/p631587-ennio-salvioni.
At the IFIC Topical Seminar on September 4th at 11h30 (Europe/Madrid) Ennio will give a talk entitled: "New portals to the dark sector". More information about his talk can be found here: https://indico.ific.uv.es/event/7717/
