The Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC), a joint research institute of the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Valencia, invites applications for several POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN PARTICLE, NUCLEAR and MEDICAL PHYSICS with starting date in the fall of 2025. Earlier appointments may also be considered.

The research interests of the theory groups at IFIC cover a wide variety of topics in theoretical and experimental particle physics such as particle physics phenomenology in the Standard Model and beyond (including collider, flavour, Higgs and neutrino physics), QCD and strong interactions, lattice QCD, effective field theories in hadron and nuclear physics, astroparticle physics, cosmology, dark matter, gravitation and black holes, gravitational waves, quantum information and medical physics.

The IFIC also hosts very strong experimental groups which participate in several international experiments in particle, astroparticle and nuclear physics as well as in the applications of these disciplines to other fields of science and technology.
