Alex Wen from Harvard University visits IFIC from March 11th to 15th, 2024.

Alex is a Ph.D. student at Harvard University in the group of Carlos Argüelles, and he obtained his B.Sc. at the University of British Columbia. He is interested in using atmospheric and astrophysical neutrinos at the IceCube experiment to probe for beyond Standard Model phenomena and to measure quantities like the density of the earth. He is also interested in developing simulations and software to better perform neutrino analyses and to model the performance of neutrino detectors.
