Bachir Moussallam visits IFIC from 20th to 24th May 2024
Bachir Moussallam from the IJCLab “Laboratoire de Physique des 2 Infinis Irène Joliot-Curie”, Orsay, visits IFIC from 20th to 24th May 2024.
Bachir Moussallam obtained his PhD in theoretical physics from Pierre et Marie Curie University in 1985, becoming Chargé de recherche in CNRS afterwards, and subsequently Directeur de recherche in CNRS. He is presently Emeritus researcher in CNRS. He is a renowned expert in: nucleon-antinucleon system, semiclassical theory of solitons in four dimensions, pion-pion scattering, electromagnetic sum rules, chiral expansion in the anomaly sector, flavour dependence of spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking, pion-Kaon scattering.
At the IFIC Topical Seminar on May 23th at 15h (Europe/Madrid) Bachir will give a talk entitled: "Isospin symmetry and three-body rescattering in $D\to \bar{K}\pi\pi$ amplitudes". More information about his talk can be found here: https://indico.ific.uv.es/event/7608/
