The Institute for Corpuscular Physics (IFIC), a joint centre of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Valencia, hosted the 13th edition of the Beam Telescopes and Test Beams (BTTB) Workshop from May 19 to 23 in Valencia.

This international workshop brought together researchers from Europe, Asia, and the Americas to share advances in the field of test beam infrastructures and tracking detector technologies, particularly for high-energy physics experiments.

The BTTB workshop serves as a forum for scientists, engineers, and students involved in detector R&D, offering a platform to exchange results and techniques from recent test beam campaigns, share expertise in detector performance, and foster collaboration across projects.

The program combined technical talks on beamline facilities (including those at DESY, CERN, KEK, Fermilab, and others), presentations on state-of-the-art detectors, and tutorials on dedicated data acquisition and analysis software such as Allpix2, Corryvreckan, and Constellation.

With up to 80 registered participants (including both in-person and remote) and strong engagement from major experimental collaborations, BTTB13 reinforced the essential role of test beams in validating future detector concepts for facilities like the HL-LHC and future colliders.

The Local Organizing Committee included IFIC researchers Salvador Marti Garcia, Carlos Mariñas Pardo, Laura Molina Bueno, Kirill Salamatin, Vidya Sagar Vobbilisetti and Tamar Zakareishvili.
