Internships for master students at IFIC
The Institute for Corpuscular Physics (IFIC), a Severo Ochoa Excellence Center, offers up to fifteen internships for students of the Master in Advanced Physics of the University of Valencia who want to carry out their Master Theses at IFIC during the 2015/2016 season. The aim of these grants is to introduce the research lines of IFIC to the master students and to enhance the contact between the students and the researchers, encouraging them to engage in PhD projects in our Institute.
The official call for the internships will go out by September 2015, but the candidates can already check the proposed projects in our web. When the call is out the candidates will have to select the projects of their interest, and in case they have selected more than one they should also indicate an order of preference. The granted quantity for each internship is estimated to be of around 550 €/month for six months. The work day duration is not yet determined, but the projects must be carried out during the 2015/2016 season and they will at any rate be compatible with the master courses. These details, along with the documents required to apply, will be released in the official call.
Candidates can pre-enrol by sending an email to s8a.master@ific.uv.es indicating their name and a contact address. Preenrolment is not mandatory, but will allow the Institute to send the appropriate information to the candidadtes when it is out.
