Víctor Martín Lozano, a researcher at the Institute for Corpuscular Physics (IFIC), a joint centre of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Valencia, has been appointed theoretical coordinator of the National LHC Physics Network (RedLHC, CPAN), where he will share coordination of the theoretical area with Ernesto Arganda and Sven Heinemeyer, both researchers at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT), UAM-CSIC.

The National LHC Physics Network (RedLHC) brings together researchers from Spanish experimental and theoretical groups whose work focuses on studying the physics involved in CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC), located in Geneva, Switzerland. In fact, RedLHC is a key element of Spain’s participation in the LHC’s experiments and theoretical research. In addition, Víctor Martín Lozano thus joins other members of IFIC, such as Carlos Escobar and Salvador Martí, in the coordination tasks of RedLHC.

In turn, the National Centre for Particle, Astroparticle and Nuclear Physics (CPAN) coordinates research in the fields of particle, astroparticle and nuclear physics carried out in Spain, promoting national collaboration among research groups and strengthening their international presence.
