IVICFA workshop on Astrophysics on coming Friday
Next Friday, September 26th, the series of autumn IVICFA workshops continues with a session entirely devoted to astronomy and astrophysics. Throughout Friday morning we will be able to attend seminars about gamma ray bursts, observation of the neighbourhood of supermassive black holes, or what are we learning about type Ia supernovae from observations of the recent SN2014J, among other topics.
The talks will be held at an unusual place: the conference room in the second floor of IATA. As usual, registration through the Indico web is encouraged in order to optimise the organisation. Check out the complete programme for the workshop here:
