Dr. Jose Miguel No from IFT-UAM/CSIC visits IFIC from 6th to 7th November 2023
Jose Miguel No obtained his PhD at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2009 under the supervision of Jose Ramón Espinosa. After postdoctoral positions in IPhT Saclay (Paris), ULB Brussels, Sussex University (Brighton, UK) and King's College London, he moved to IFT as a Ramón y Cajal Fellow. His research focuses mainly on Higgs physics, its phenomenology at the LHC and its consequences for the early Universe (e.g. the possibility of electroweak baryogenesis). Other interests include gravitational waves from the early Universe and dark matter phenomenology.
At the IFIC Seminar on November 7th at 12h (Europe/Madrid) Jose Miguel will give a talk entitled: "Extended Higgs Sectors, Symmetry Breaking & Baryogenesis". More information about his talk can be found here: https://indico.ific.uv.es/event/7276/
His office at IFIC is B-1-6
