Assoc. Prof Nejc Košnik from the Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana and University of Ljubljana visits IFIC from 6th to 8th May 2024.

Assoc. Prof. Nejc Košnik obtained his PhD at University of Ljubljana in 2010. He continued as a postdoc at LAL Orsay, France, focussing on low energy probes of beyond the standard model flavor structures, as well as in high energy observables. He explored the role of leptoquarks in B meson physics and interplay with other low energy observables, measurements at LEP and at LHC. Now he is a researcher at Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana and University of Ljubljana. His interests range from flavour aspects of BSM to constructing sensitive observables to hunt for exotic sources of CP violation, lepton flavor violation, baryon and lepton number breaking.

At the IFIC Seminar on May 07th at 12h (Europe/Madrid) Nejc will give a talk entitled: "Status of lepton universality within and beyond the Standard model". More information about his talk can be found here: https://indico.ific.uv.es/event/7553/

His office at IFIC is B.2.1.
