Dr. Paolo Abiuso will give an IFIC Seminar on October 28th, titled Optimal control for Hamiltonian metrology in dynamical and steady states.

Abiuso obtained his PhD from ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences and is currently a PostDoc at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI - Vienna). His research interests revolve around the geometry of quantum states and its applications to quantum thermodynamics, metrology and foundations.

His office will be located at the guests office at the Theoretical Physics Department, UV.
